Why it's important to enhance your warehouse & order fulfilment operations

Once you've mastered the setup, it's time to streamline your stock management and order fulfilment workflow, ensuring your average pick time is kept to a minimum. This process is imperative to any supply chain business so you can ensure your operations are at their peak performance.

Alongside your warehouse & order fulfilment processes, its key that your accounting processes are working in tandem to ensure that cash flow is optimised, this gives you the option to re-invest in your operations or help scale up your business.

What you can do to set yourself up for operational excellence

  • A good feature to explore is Stock & Warehouse feed rules, with this you can automatically manipulate the stock figures that Mintsoft provides to any channels that have Stock Sync enabled. This can be massively beneficial where you need to limit your stock levels due to eBay listing restrictions or where you always want to report an item in stock.

  • Before you complete the packing stage, is is possible to automatically capture variable rework and set up any goods in charges you wish to include.

  • Mintsoft has some key order fulfilment workflow modules that can be configured to further streamline your process. Batch scheduler, creates batches automatically, based on set parameters, and Order rules can be applied to Client, Warehouse or Channel on an and/or condition type, both functionalities saving time on the picking process. Custom Despatch notes bring in additional tags to your documents, allow you to share more key information on your orders.

  • If your business deals with large volumes of orders then Access Mintsoft has you covered through the batch picking features, with this method, you can choose to filter and sort orders in 'NEW' status to be processed in a variety of ways, such as by courier, channel and even product.

  • If you want to keep your brand customer facing, Access Mintsoft can be Whitelabelled, this means your customers only ever see your brand logos' colours and domain name.

  • Accounting is a key part of the order fulfilment process, we recommend integrating Access Mintsoft to Access Financials or Dimensions, but it also links with other key finance platforms such as Quickbooks, Sage and Xero. If you use a finance platform that we don't currently have an integration with, you can explore our open API.
