If your POS terminal is configured for integrated card payments ie when you press the Credit Card button on the POS the transaction total is passed to the card terminal, there is an EFT application that needs to be running on the POS terminal.
If the EFT application has been closed down or is not running then you will get the 'EFT application not running' error message when you press the credit card button on the POS terminal.
Solution:
To resolve the issue you will need to run the EFT app which is located on the POS desktop and / or taskbar - look for a shortcut called Dojo PAC or Dojo PAT.
To get to the desktop you will need to minimise TouchPoint - there should be a minimise button in the Mangers Menu on the Home Page menu.
If you cannot get to the desktop then restarted the POS terminals as the EFT app should be configured to autoload at startup.
