The POS system needs to identify who the clerk (user) is for security and reporting purposes.
This message appears when someone (a clerk) tries to use the POS terminal and they have not signed on first.
Resolution:
If a clerk is not signed onto a POS terminal, you will see the message "Please Sign On" flashing at the top center of the sales mode screen.
To sign on to the POS terminal using one of the following sign on methods:
Enter your clerk PIN code and then press the Clerk Sign In Button.
If your POS system has individual clerk buttons then press your clerk button.
If you have a clerk fob, place this on the rob reader.
If you have a clerk card, swipe the card on the POS card reader.
