My rental won't end

Problems ending your rental

Your ride may not end if any of the following apply:

  • You are outside a green parking zone

  • You are in a red no-parking zone

  • You have moved away from the bike before completing the end-ride process

What to check first

  1. Open the map in the app and confirm you are inside a green parking zone

  2. Make sure you are parked at a public bike stand, marked with a (P) on the map

  3. Stay beside the bike with the app open (If your location does not update, close and reopen the app to refresh your GPS position)

  4. Secure the bike to the stand and tap End my ride

The app will display an error message if something is preventing the ride from ending.

If you’re in the correct place and it still won’t end

If you are:

  • In a green parking zone

  • Parked at a public bike stand

  • Standing beside the bike

and the ride still won’t end:

  1. Secure the bike properly to the stand

  2. Take a clear parking photo

  3. Contact support via in-app chat or email support@mobymove.com

  4. Include a short description of what happened (and a screenshot if possible)

Our support team will review and end the ride for you. The logs will show us your journey profile, you will be refunded for any time you were incorrectly charged.
