MOBY pedal bikes must be parked and locked only at approved public bike stands located within the operating zone shown in the app with a "P" symbol.
Step-by-step
Park the bike beside an approved public bike stand (shown as a green area in the app with a "P" symbol)
Wrap the cable around the bike stand
Place the looped end of the cable into the lock and secure it using the loose end
Make sure the lock closes fully. You should hear a beep confirming it is secure
Tap ‘End my ride’ in the app
Take a clear photo showing the bike properly locked to the stand and submit it
Once submitted, the ride will end automatically and you’ll receive a confirmation in the app.
Important notes
You must stay beside the bike with the app open during this process, as GPS and internet connection are required
Always ensure the bike is parked neatly and does not block pedestrians, paths, or vehicles
What is not allowed
Locking bikes to poles, fences, lamp posts, railings, or any non-bike infrastructure
Leaving the bike unlocked or not secured to a stand
Penalties
Bikes left outside approved parking areas or not correctly locked may incur a €30 penalty.
