The Sport Ireland bike scheme is a private service available only to employees based in the Sport Ireland business park. It is not part of the public MOBY bike-sharing service.
Who can use these bikes?
This scheme is available exclusively to Sport Ireland employees with an approved work email domain.
If you believe you are eligible but cannot access the bikes, please contact the Sport Ireland team to ensure your email is registered.
Pricing and usage rules
Free for the first 5 hours per ride
After 5 hours:
E-bikes: €0.15 per minute
Pedal bikes: €0.02 per minute
Maximum charge: €20 per ride
Rentals are charged per minute, including paused time
The 5-hour limit helps ensure bikes remain available to all users. As long as each ride is ended within 5 hours, you can take multiple free rides per day.
Parking and return rules
Bikes must be returned by 00:00
End your ride only at stations marked green in the app within the campus
Bikes left outside designated parking areas may incur a penalty
Locking instructions
E-bikes
End the ride in the app and secure the bike using the combination lock.
Pedal bikes
Use the cable to lock the bike through the stand, then feed the lock through the other end to secure it.
