Pausing your ride lets you take a break without ending your rental. While paused, the bike remains reserved for you and cannot be rented by anyone else.

Use Pause if you are stopping briefly and plan to continue your journey later.
How to pause your ride
Secure the bike using the cable and combination lock
In the app ride screen, select More and Tap Pause

E-bikes
Lock the bike to a stand using the cable and combination lock, then press Pause in the app.
Pedal bikes
Engage the lock by hand and use the cable to secure the bike to a stand.
Resuming your ride
When you are ready to continue, tap Start in the app to unlock the bike.
