For travellers, having the App is a considerable advantage when embarking on a trip, as they always have access to the complete itinerary of their trip with all the information you have provided them with. Through the app they can be in direct contact not only with the agency, but also with the rest of the trips through the group chat. In addition, they always have the trip documentation available both online and offline without having to check several emails to find the file they are looking for. Through the explora section they can also book additional services from the destination.

1. Access to the mobile application

The access is very simple and can be done in different ways. Through the booking confirmation email that includes the access QR code or, for groups, travellers can scan the QR shown by the guide, for example on the first day. After downloading the App (from Apple Store or Google Play) they are already inside.

2. Documentation

Travellers will have the entire travel programme and documents on their phone, with detailed information updated in real time. Whether they are connected to the internet or offline, they will be able to access the Files section and have boarding passes, hotel and excursion vouchers, travel insurance, etc.

3. Chat

The traveller will be able to communicate directly with the guide, through the group chat or with the agency (if the agency enables the option). It will no longer be necessary to record the travellers' mobile phones on your personal phone, or share numbers via WhatsApp.

In the app you will have the phone numbers of each traveller, as well as a chat where you can address them in a simple and non-intrusive way. You can enable both an individual chat and a group chat, and send information of interest to all the members of a group with a single message. The app also allows you to call each traveller directly on their mobile.

4. Notifications

Both the travel agent and the guide coordinator can send push notifications to the clients' mobile phones to inform them about unforeseen events, meeting points, send out rating surveys, etc.

This functionality will help you to be in contact with your clients in a quick and immediate way. There are different types of notifications, each with a different purpose, and you can combine them as you need them:

  • General

  • Valuation

  • Alert

  • Location

  • Video

  • Survey

Remember that you can schedule the sending of notifications and filter who receives them thanks to tags: for example, if 10 customers have paid for an excursion to Westminster Abbey, the tag #abbey is added to them, and you can send only them the location of the meeting point for the excursion, as well as a reminder of the departure time.

Payment links or virtual POS

The app works as a virtual POS through which you can send payment links to customers and monetise services at the destination: a car rental, an excursion, tickets to a park... It is as easy as creating a payment notification, indicating the concept, amount and currency and sending it to travellers, who can make the payment from their mobile phone via credit card. The agency has all the payment information on the platform in real time in the Sales section of the menu on the left.

5. Explore section

In this section of the app you can choose which website you want to show travellers: it can be your own website, or a customised URL to a website to which your agency is affiliated: Civitatis, Getyourguide, Viator, Tourscanner... This way you will be able to get more out of your destination sales by monetising each sale through your customised link. If you prefer not to use this section and not to link to any website, you can simply configure the app so that this section does not appear. Here we tell you a bit more about it!

6. Gallery

In the app, travellers have a gallery where they can upload photos and videos of their trip, helping to create a community among the participants of each trip. They will love to share the images with the group.
