ℹ️ From 5 June 2023 a change in pricing policy is applied so that any payment made with MOGU will include a fee, which will only vary depending on the payment schedule and whether or not it involves a currency conversion.

Commissions will NOT be applied to installments of a payment schedule that is already in operation, i.e. payments that are still pending collection.

Commission model

The commission is calculated according to the payment provider and the type of plan contracted. The agency may have several active providers and MOGU will process the payment through the one with the most beneficial commission for the agency. For example, if both Stripe and OpenPay are active, a payment in MXN will always be processed by OpenPay.

Fees are set according to the table below:

*Normally card payments give the customer the option to reclaim the amount if they wish. Payment by transfer via SPEI does NOT give the customer that option and therefore all payments are ALWAYS guaranteed.

Card payments

  • Any card any time: Receive credit or debit payments 24/7

  • All data protected: Secure customers and merchants, with our data encryption

  • Secure approval at all times: Our fraud prevention tool validates every transaction

  • Your money where it belongs: Payment of your sales is reflected in real time on the Dashboard

Stripe

Stripe is one of the safest and best providers for online payment transactions. It allows you to process payments in any of the 130 currencies it accepts, so you can charge your international customers more quickly and conveniently.

Please note that if the payment is made in a currency other than the one in which you have set up your account (in this case, MXN), an extra 1% exchange rate fee will be added.

Recommendation: Create the account in the currency in which you will make most of your payments to optimize your currency exchange costs.

The same commission apply as indicated in the table for local, national and international cards.

Open Pay

The agency could also set up an account with OpenPay, the most popular payment solution in Mexico, owned by BBVA. This payment provider offers the following benefits:

  • A more competitive commission (the table price already includes all associated costs).

  • We simplify the whole process of negotiating with the bank. You only have to fill in an online form and once the business has been verified (within 5 days) you will have your online payment tool.

  • More sales: the customer will always pay within your online budget, we will not take them to a separate window that affects their user experience.

Bank Transfers

Whenever a payment is made in MXN, the customer will be offered two options, payment by credit card or by bank transfer. In this case, a list of associated banks will appear so that you can select your bank. You will be redirected and with the usual Online Banking passwords you will proceed with the payment.
