Vehicle Unavailability Blocking

Operators can now block vehicles from being booked during specific time periods — for maintenance, repairs, or any other reason. This feature is available for Standard, Pro, and Enterprise Plans

How It Works

Navigate to a vehicle’s settings and open the new Unavailability tab.

Create time blocks with a reason, start/end times, and a recurrence pattern:

  • One-time — a specific date

  • Daily — every day (with optional date range)

  • Weekly — specific days of the week (with optional date range)

Blocked vehicles automatically show as unavailable in both the operator dispatch view and the customer booking portal — they cannot be selected for reservations during those periods.

‘Add Vehicle’ Unavailability Blocks

Unavailability blocks appear alongside trip conflicts with distinct icons for each:

  • 🟠 Orange calendar icon = unavailability block

  • 🔴 Red calendar icon = trip conflict (existing)

  • 🟠🔴 Combined icon = both present

Dispatch Calendar

Unavailability blocks appear in the dispatch calendar with a grey ‘hatched’ pattern.
