This article will guide you though creating a new booking with the new bookings view.

Follow these steps to create a new booking:

Creating a New Booking on the Scheduler

  1. Navigate to the scheduler.

  2. Click the New Booking button.

Creating a New Booking on the Booking Page

  1. Navigate to "Jobs > Bookings".

  2. Click the New button.

Adding a Booking to an Existing Slot

  1. Enter Vehicle Registration or Customer Name:

    • Input the vehicle registration to search or an excising vehicles. This will prompt a popup asking if you would like to use the owner of the vehicle for the booking.

    • Alternatively, input the customer name to search for an existing customer. Select the "customer vehicle" option under the vehicle search bar to choose the correct vehicle.

    • You can also add a new customer and/or vehicle if needed.

  2. Select the correct date for the booking.

  3. Select Slot Type, Bay, and Technician

  4. Select the time slot from the available times below. (1)

    • You can toggle the option to show/hide slots that are already booked or in use for other appointments by clicking the cog icon in the top right of the "Add booking" window (2)

  5. Click Create Booking to open the booking overview window.

Inserting a New Slot

  1. Input the vehicle registration number or customer name to search for an existing customer/vehicle.

    • You can also add a new customer or vehicle if needed.

  2. Select the correct date and time for the booking.

  3. Select Slot Type, Bay, and Technician

  4. Click Insert Booking to open the booking overview window.
