Follow these steps to make changes to an existing booking:

Accessing the Booking for Editing

On the scheduler: right click on the booking and select "Open Booking."

On the Bookings grid: Double-click on the booking or, select the booking and click the "View" button.

Making Changes to the Booking

  1. Update Vehicle:

    • Clear the current vehicle and select another or add a new vehicle.

  2. Update Customer:

    • Clear the current customer and replace them with another customer.

    • If you update the customer without changing the vehicle, a pop-up will ask if you want to add this customer as the current owner of the vehicle.

  3. Update Slot Type, Bay and Technician:

    • Change the slot type as needed.

    • Select a different bay.

    • Choose a new technician.

  4. Update Mileage:

    • Enter the updated mileage.

    • When you click "Save", you will be asked if you would like to update this mileage against the vehicle record.

  5. Change Referrer:

    • Update the referrer, with the option to select "none".

Adjusting Net Price

  • Automatic Recalculation:

    • When making changes to the booking form, the net price will automatically recalculate based on the chosen slot type, customer, and vehicle.

    • Clearing these fields will not trigger a recalculation; the recalculation only occurs when a new valid value is set.

  • Manual Price Adjustment:

    • To override the calculated price, overtype in the net price field.

    • To reset the price back to the server-calculated price, use the manual Recalculate button.

Notes

Changing Date and Time:

  • The date and time of the booking cannot be updated. To change the date and time, you need to delete the booking and create a new one with the correct time/date.
