How to Edit a Workout After It’s Been Completed

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Life happens — and sometimes workouts don’t get logged right away. Whether you were on a cruise, traveling without internet, or just forgot to hit the timer, you can easily edit a completed workout so your history (and streak!) stay accurate.

Why you might need this

  • You completed workouts earlier in the week but logged them later

  • You were offline and couldn’t log workouts at the time

  • You logged a LISS workout without running the in-app timer

  • You want to make sure your weekly streak stays intact 🔥

By default, workouts log on the day you save them — but you can change that.

How to edit a completed workout

  1. Open the workout you already logged (either from the Home Screen or your Monthly Calendar page)

  2. Tap the three dots (… ) in the top corner

  3. Select Edit Workout

  4. Using the pencil ✏️ icon, you can update the workout:

    • Date & time (for example, move it back to last week)

    • Duration (adjust total workout time as needed)

  5. Click Save

  6. Click Done in the top right corner

That’s it! Your workout will now reflect when (and how long) you actually completed it.

Extra helpful for LISS workouts

If you log a LISS workout without using the app timer, it may initially save as only a few seconds long. No worries — you can:

  • Edit the workout duration to 30 minutes (or however long you went)

  • Adjust the time and date if needed

This ensures your effort is fully counted and accurately reflected.

Why this matters

  • Keeps your workout history accurate

  • Prevents missing a week of logged workouts

  • Helps protect your streak and momentum 💪

You put in the work — make sure the Moves app reflects it!
