How Do I Log a Workout?

You can log your workout in the Moves App using either Guided View or List View. Switch between views anytime using the icons in the top-right corner of your workout screen.


Guided View vs. List View

1. Guided View (Step-by-Step)

  • One move at a time with a large demo video and clear cues

  • Great if you’re learning new movements or prefer to follow along in order

  • Log after each exercise so you always know exactly where you are

2. List View (Big Picture & Fast Logging)

  • See your whole workout at once — past, present, and upcoming blocks are all visible

  • Rearrange exercises, plan ahead, and grab your gear before starting a block

  • Log as you go, or hit Complete All to check off an entire block in seconds

  • Perfect if you want less screen time and more sweat time


Logging in Each View

List View

  1. Tap the List View icon during your workout.

  2. To log a single set/round, tap the single checkmark icon ().

  3. To log an entire block, tap the double checkmark icon (). This is our “Complete All” feature, which makes logging faster!

  4. Once all sets are logged, tap Log Workout at the bottom of your screen. Any unlogged exercises will be marked as “skipped.”

  5. Tap Complete Workout to finalize and save your session.

👉 Pro Tip: Use the “Complete All” button in List View if you already completed a block but don’t want to log each set one by one.

🎥 Guided View

  1. Tap the blue checkmark icon () after each exercise to log it.

  2. The app will automatically move you into the next exercise.

  3. If you need to skip an exercise, tap Skip — this will move you forward without logging that rep as completed.

  4. Use the Back Arrow anytime to return to the previous exercise.

  5. Continue until you reach the end of the workout.

  6. Tap Finish Workout to save your progress.

👉 Pro tip: You can switch back and forth anytime. If you spot a new move and want a closer look, hop into Guided View for the bigger demo video — then jump right back to List View once you’ve got it down.
