Can I Pause My Subscription?

⚡️ Heads Up! Pause is only available for subscriptions purchased directly through Moves (movesapp.com). If your subscription is managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you’ll need to cancel it there and resubscribe when you’re ready to return

Good news! You can now pause your subscription instead of canceling if you just need a break.

How to Pause Your Subscription

  1. Open the Moves App

  2. Go to the Profile tab

  3. Tap Manage Subscription

  4. Tap Manage Subscription again (this opens the Account Manager)

  5. Log in using your Moves app email and password

  6. Select Pause Subscription

  7. Choose your pause duration: 1 month, 2 months, or 3 months

Your subscription will pause immediately. You won’t be billed while paused, and your renewal date will automatically update when you resume.

⚠️ While paused, you won’t have access to subscriber-only features like programs, content, or workout logging tools. App access and normal billing will resume automatically when your pause ends. You can also resume anytime!

What happens to billing when you pause your subscription?

When you pause your subscription, any time you’ve already paid for doesn’t go away — it’s simply saved for later.

  • If you pause partway through your billing cycle, your remaining days are “held” on your account.

  • When you resume, you won’t be charged right away — you’ll pick up right where you left off.

  • Your next billing date will shift based on how many days were left in your cycle when you paused.

Example:
If you pause 2 days into a 30-day cycle, you still have 28 days remaining. When you resume, you’ll get those 28 days before your next charge.

👉 If you’d prefer to use the full billing period now, you can resume anytime. Just be sure to pause at the end of your billing cycle to avoid being billed for the next period.
