Why You Can’t Add Exercises Freely

All Moves App programs are designed by certified professionals to ensure safe, balanced, and effective workouts. Sets, reps, rest periods, and movements are carefully structured so your progress is consistent and results-driven. Adding exercises outside the program could throw off this balance.

How You Can Personalize Your Workout

While you can’t add exercises from scratch, you can swap in exercises of your choice using the Alternate Exercise Library. This feature allows you to adjust movements based on equipment, mobility, injuries, or personal preference—without compromising your program’s integrity.

Steps to Swap Exercises:

  1. Tap the 3-dot menu on any exercise.

  2. Choose “Alternates”.

  3. Select “More Alternates”.

  4. Filter by muscle group or equipment.

  5. Pick your preferred movement.

  6. Click “Swap Exercise”.

Note: Swapping an exercise is not the same as adding a brand-new custom exercise. You can only replace an existing exercise with one from the Alternate Exercise Library, ensuring your workout remains balanced and aligned with the program.

This approach keeps your workouts effective while giving you flexibility and personalization.
