Our Alternate Exercise Library gives you more flexibility and personalization in your workouts—without sacrificing structure or results.

Who is this for?

Anyone who wants to:

  • Adjust an exercise based on available equipment

  • Modify for injury or mobility

  • Swap in a preferred movement

  • Customize the feel of a workout while staying aligned with the program


When to use it

Use the Exercise Swap feature anytime a movement in your workout doesn’t feel quite right—whether due to equipment, comfort, or preference. It's especially useful if:

  • You don’t have the required equipment

  • You need a lower-impact or modified version

  • You’d prefer a different movement that targets the same muscle group

  • You’re craving a little variety!


How it works

  1. Tap the 3-dot menu on any exercise

  2. Select "Alternates"

  3. Tap "More Alternates"

  4. Filter by muscle group or equipment

  5. Choose your preferred movement

  6. Click "Swap Exercise"

Your selected exercise will immediately replace the original, while keeping the rest of your workout intact.


Why we built it

Our programs are intentionally designed with expert structure—sets, reps, and progression are crafted for safe, effective results. That’s why we don’t support full customization or the ability to add exercises.

But we do believe in flexibility. This feature lets you personalize your workout while still honoring the integrity of the program—so you get the best of both worlds.
