Dispatch Timeframes

Once you place your order, we’ll securely pack your gear and prepare it for shipping.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with your FedEx tracking number as soon as it's packed up.

To check your estimated delivery date, copy the tracking number in your email and enter it on FedEx’s tracking page. This will update once your package is scanned into their system.

Shipping & Tracking Tips

  • FedEx pickups happen once per day. If your order is packed after that day’s pickup, tracking won’t go live until the next business day.

  • We don’t ship on weekends or federal holidays. Your order will be dispatched on the next available business day.

Track Your Order

Track your shipment using the FedEx Tracking Tool:

  • Tracking typically updates by 8 p.m. EST on the day it ships.

  • You may not see updates right away — this often means your package is still waiting to be scanned at the first FedEx depot.

Several days in between scans are common for West Coast shipments.

What if I miss my delivery?

FedEx will make up to three delivery attempts:

  • Signature required: If you're not available, FedEx will attempt delivery two more times.

  • No signature required: FedEx may still withhold delivery if there’s no secure place to leave your package, and will try two more times.

  • If delivery fails after three attempts, the package may be held at a FedEx hub (at their discretion) or returned to MPB.

Once returned to us, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method.

You can also have a trusted neighbor or family member sign for the delivery.

If you're concerned about a missed delivery, contact our team.

Drop-off Requirements

To make sure your package can be tracked and protected:

  • Drop off your gear at a staffed FedEx location (not a drop box)

  • Use the prepaid FedEx label provided by MPB

  • Request and retain a printed FedEx receipt as proof of drop-off

This helps us confirm your package entered the FedEx network, which is required to begin any investigation if needed.

If your package was dropped off at a third-party shipping store (such as a retail mailbox provider or office supply store), and FedEx has not scanned it, we cannot open a claim.

In that case, please contact the third-party location directly, as they are responsible for handing the package over to FedEx.

Track Your Shipment

Track your package using your FedEx tracking number, which can be found on:

  • Your FedEx drop-off receipt

  • The PDF label we emailed you

  • The ‘Quotes’ section of your MPB account (shown below)

Some FedEx locations may not schedule pickups every day. If your package was dropped off after the daily pickup, tracking updates may be delayed until the following business day.

No Tracking Updates After 5 Business Days?

Whether you're buying from MPB or sending gear to MPB, please contact us if your FedEx tracking shows:

  • The package shows an initial FedEx scan, but there have been no further updates for 5 full business days.

We’ll:

  • Open a trace with FedEx on your behalf

  • Begin a formal claim with our Security Team, if needed

We may request the following:

If you’re selling or trading gear:

  • A photo of your FedEx drop-off receipt

  • Photos of your gear and packaging before shipping

  • Proof of ownership or ID

If you’re buying from MPB:

  • Confirmation of your shipping address

  • A valid photo ID matching the order name and address

  • Details of any delivery attempt notice (email, text, or door tag)

The full process may take up to 30 days, including time for FedEx and MPB's Security Team to complete their investigations. We'll keep you updated every step of the way.

What if my package was misdelivered?

Start by checking:

  • Your tracking information — it may include delivery location notes

  • With neighbors, building staff, mailrooms, or front desks

Still can’t locate your package? Contact us and we’ll begin an investigation.

Using Your Own Courier?

If you choose to use your own courier:

  • It is done entirely at your own risk

  • MPB is not liable for delays, loss, or damage
