If your True Weight or Trend Weight seems incorrect, check your recorded Scale Weight entries for incorrect values. True/Trend Weight smooths out normal weight fluctuations, so incorrect entries can affect the result.
Step 1. Check your weight records in Apple Health
Open the Apple Health app.
Tap the magnifying glass icon and search for Weight:
Scroll down and tap Show All Data:
Review all recorded data and identify any incorrect values.
To delete an incorrect entry, swipe left on it and tap the bin icon. Alternatively, tap Edit in the top-right corner, tap the red minus icon next to the entry, then tap the bin icon:
Step 2. Check and correct your weight records in Calorie Counter
On the app's main page, use the calendar to select the same date with the incorrect weight entry.
Scroll down to the Weight section and tap the pencil icon to correct the value. To delete the weight log completely from both Calorie Counter and Apple Health, enter 0:
✍️ Note: Weight entries need to be corrected or deleted separately in both apps. Deleting an entry in Apple Health does not automatically delete it from Calorie Counter. If you correct a weight in Calorie Counter, the updated value is sent to Apple Health, but the old incorrect entry may remain there. Check both apps and remove any incorrect entries to avoid affecting your True/Trend Weight.
Optional: Review your weight history (paid plans)
If you have a paid plan, you can also use your weight statistics to review recorded entries:
Tap the Progress icon in the footer menu.
Scroll to the Weight section and tap Explore More:
Scroll down to Scale Weight Log and review your entries for any incorrect values:
Once you've corrected or removed the incorrect entries in both apps, your True/Trend Weight will reflect the accurate data.
