How do I add a workout/activity?

Adding activity and workouts

You can easily add your workout activity in two ways:

  1. Search and add manually: Type the name of your activity in the search bar, select the suggested 60-minute template, and tap the plus icon to add it. After adding, you can tap the workout again to edit the duration, calories burned, or start time:

  2. Use AI recognition: For a custom activity (like walking on a treadmill, Thai Chi, or other), type a prompt like "treadmill walking 30 minutes" in the search bar and tap the star icon . The AI will automatically create and log the workout:

✍️ Note: Activities added with AI recognition tool cannot be edited. You can edit standard workouts that you add manually.

✍️ Note: AI recognition currently works with English activity descriptions only. Support for other languages is being developed.

If you’re logging a regular activity (like football and others), use the manual search option instead.

For custom activities (like Tai Chi and others), you can add the workout directly in Apple Health in the Workouts section and specify the duration and calories burned:

The workout will be synced to the app as long as the app has all Apple Health permissions enabled. You can enable them in Apple Health - Sharing tab - Apps - Calorie Counter - Turn On All.

For future entries, you can quickly select your previous workouts from your history and adjust their duration or other details as needed.
