Following these steps ensures your labels print clearly, align correctly, and avoid common printing issues.

1. Install and Run QZ Tray (Required)

Before setting up your printer, make sure QZ Tray is installed and running.

QZ Tray is required for AccelerList to communicate with your printer.

  • Install QZ Tray

  • Open it and make sure it is running in the menu bar (top right)

  • Refresh AccelerList after opening

πŸ‘‰ If QZ Tray is not running, printing will not work

To guide you about QZ Tray, kindly click the button below:

2. Open AccelerList in Chrome (Recommended)

  • Close the AccelerList desktop app (if open)

  • Open Google Chrome

  • Log in to AccelerList

Using Chrome helps ensure proper communication with QZ Tray.

3. Open Printer Settings in AccelerList

Navigate to:
Settings β†’ Printer β†’ SKU + FNSKU Labels

4. Configure Printer Settings in AccelerList

Set the following:

  • Active Printer: Brother QL-800 / QL-700

  • Printer Driver Config: Select available Brother config

  • Orientation: (depends on label, usually Portrait)

  • Label Type: 30252 (or any label size that matches 30252 dimensions)

βœ… Click Save Changes

5. Set Printer as Default (Mac)

  • Go to System Settings β†’ Printers & Scanners

  • Select your Brother printer

  • Set it as the default printer

This helps AccelerList and QZ Tray detect the correct printer.

6. Connect AccelerList to QZ Tray

  • In AccelerList, open printer settings

  • Select your printer

  • When prompted, click Allow / Trust

This ensures your browser can send print jobs.

7. Select Printer Driver Config

  • Choose a Printer Driver Config from the dropdown

  • Click Save

⚠️ If no driver config is selected, printing may fail or do nothing

8. Verify Label Size in Printer Settings

  • Make sure your label roll matches 30252 (or equivalent size)

  • Avoid using custom sizes if a preset is available

Using presets ensures better alignment and reliability.

9. Print a Test Label

  • Click Print Test Label in AccelerList

Confirm:

  • Label is aligned

  • Not cut off

  • Prints clearly

10. Troubleshooting (If Test Print Fails)

If printing does not work:

  • Restart QZ Tray and refresh AccelerList

  • Confirm printer is still set as default

  • Recheck Driver Config + Label Size

  • Try another preset label size

  • Restart your Mac if needed

Quick Reminder βœ…

For best results:

  • Use Brother QL-800 / QL-700 printer

  • Use 30252 label size (or matching dimensions)

  • Ensure QZ Tray is installed and running

  • Use Google Chrome

  • Select a valid Printer Driver Config

  • Avoid manual/custom label sizes when possible

If everything is set correctly, your SKU + FNSKU labels should print clean, properly aligned, and ready to use πŸ‘
