Welcoming a new employee to your team is an exciting moment, but sometimes, the initial welcome email with important login credentials and account information may get lost in the shuffle. Ensuring that each team member receives their welcome email is crucial for a smooth onboarding process. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of resending a welcome email to an employee, ensuring they have access to all the necessary resources from day one.

Understanding the Welcome Email

The welcome email serves as a virtual invitation, providing new employees with essential information to kickstart their journey with your company and on myHSA's benefit platform. This email includes login credentials and instructions on how to access their myHSA account.

Resending the Welcome Email

Follow these simple steps to resend the welcome email to an employee:

  1. Navigate to the Employees Tab: Depending on your role, access the Employees tab from either the dashboard (for Plan Administrators) or the "clients" tab > Employee search (for Advisors).

  2. Locate the Employee: Type the employee name in the search, or scroll through the list of employees until you find the individual you wish to resend the welcome email to. Click on their name to access their profile.

  3. Access "Other Actions": Within the employee's profile, locate the "other actions" section. This is where you'll find additional options for managing the employee's account!

  4. Resend Welcome Email: Among the available actions, look for the "Send Welcome Email" option. Click on it to trigger the system to resend the welcome email to the employee's registered email address.

By following these steps, you ensure that the employee receives the welcome email promptly, allowing them to access their accounts and begin their onboarding journey without delay.

If the employee still doesn't seem to be receiving the welcome emails, try having them check their "junk folder" or "spam" to see if it's filtering there. If not, check to make sure that the email entered is correctly typed. If it is correct and they are not receiving the welcome email, please reach out to us for assistance by emailing support@getmyhsa.com or opening a live chat.
