Logiwa IO Packing Warning Management feature will be available as a Beta version starting with the February 2025 Main Release.

For more details about Beta feature releases, please refer to the related article.

Overview

The Packing Warning Type feature in the Packing Screen provides dynamic popups triggered based on configured warning parameters. This ensures that packers receive appropriate warnings for specific products, helping them handle items correctly for safe and accurate packing.

This feature is useful for orders requiring special attention, such as hazardous materials needing special labeling, fragile items like glass, oversized products, or those with specific packing instructions, such as dunnage, bubble wrap, and packaging inserts.

Setup

To trigger a warning message at the packing station, a product in the Shipment Order must have an assigned Product Type.

Additionally, the Packing Warning Type must be defined and linked to the corresponding Product Type in the Data Setup screen.

  • Navigate to Settings → Data Setup.

  • Navigate to the Pack Warning Type section.
