This article explains in-depth how to create dashboards and manage them within the Analytics tool. For information on creating and modifying visuals within dashboards, please visit the Logiwa Analytics: Creating Visuals page.

Default Dashboards

To set which dashboard displays when you first open Logiwa Analytics, click the Pin icon on the sidebar for the relevant dashboard.

By default, you will have access to the following dashboards:

  • Inbound & Inventory Dashboard: View subjects like warehouse utilization, inventory statuses, damage reasons, item volume by warehouse, counts, and other such stats.

  • Productivity Dashboard: View subjects like picking efficiency, operations, average time to complete a job, picked and packed orders per hour, and other stats tracked by user.

  • Fulfillment Dashboard: View subjects like shipment packages used, orders by client, order statuses, orders by channel, order distribution, job distribution, backorder rates, progress for the day, orders by carrier, and other such stats.

  • Management Dashboard: View subjects like client and order growth, revenue, cost of shipping, top selling products, average order value, picks per picker, and other such stats.

Creating a Dashboard

To begin, click on the Create button on the left sidebar. This will prompt you to either Add Visual or Place Existing Visual.

Choose either of these options and select the visual you would like to start with to continue.

You can now save the current version of the dashboard with the Save button in the top right bar. Note that the save icon on a visual has a different function.

You will be prompted to name your dashboard when you first save it. Adding a description is optional.

You can refresh the dashboard data using the Data Refresh button.

You can export the entire dashboard as PNG, JSON, or PDF using the Export button. Note that the export option on a visual will export only that visual.

You can edit, copy, export, and remove visuals by clicking on the Menu Bar icon on the visual panel. See the Logiwa Analytics: Creating Visuals article for detailed information.

Dashboard Interactions

There are a number of dashboard-wide actions you can take. This covers several of the most common actions. Click to jump to a specific section below:

Dashboard Names and Dashboard Description

Your dashboard will be created untitled. To immediately add a name, click the Untitled Dashboard field and type in your preferred name.

If you do not name your dashboard with this field, you will be prompted to add a name and optional description when you first save it. You can modify this information later if needed.

To rename a dashboard, click to that individual dashboard. Hover over the current name of the dashboard on the top left bar. You should see the text cursor appear and allow you to click, highlighting the text. You can then type the new name into the field.

To add a description after initially saving the dashboard, select the Info icon from the Menu Bar. Dashboard descriptions can help further describe the purpose of the visuals you've generated in that dashboard, guiding you to what you want to get from your data.

Dashboard Order

To change the order of your dashboards, just click and hold the dashboard you wish to move. You can then drag and drop the dashboard to a new location.

User Access for Dashboards

User access is managed by selecting the Key icon from the Analytics sidebar.

After clicking this icon, the Manage Access menu will open. You can give or remove access by enabling/disabling a user's Access toggle.

Click Save to record changes.

Search

You can perform a search within the dashboard using the keywords from your data. If you enter the value of any parameter, the system will guess which parameter it belongs to and filter this value in all the visuals on the dashboard.

You can search within dashboards using the top right bar.

You can also search all dashboards using the left pane.

Cloning a Dashboard

You can clone a dashboard to create your own custom dashboards without starting from scratch. First, click the Save As button on the dashboard which you want to clone.

Fill in the name and description.

If you want to edit visuals, you can copy the visuals and edit them. Select the Create Copies for all the Visuals checkbox. Otherwise, you cannot edit the visuals.

Click the Save button to complete the dashboard clone.
