How do I set up a Giving Site Homepage?
Updated this week

There is nothing worse than clicking a 'Donate' button on a website only to have an error message pop up! To prevent this from happening to your supporters, you can start by assigning a campaign under your 'Fundraising Pages' as your Giving Site Homepage.

With Network for Good, your organization will have a unique URL assigned to your fundraising pages. Here is an example of how that link might appear:

You can assign any active campaigns to this URL and change or swap out the designated campaign whenever you want. You can also share this link across your network so that, even if you complete your current campaign and switch it up to something new, the same link will still lead your donors to the right place without having to go back and swap it out manually each time.

If no Homepage is assigned, donors who visit your page using this link will receive an error message similar to this:

Setting a Giving Site Homepage

Step 1: Navigate to your 'Fundraising Pages'.

From your 'Donor Management' Dashboard, navigate to your 'Fundraising Pages' by clicking 'My Tools' in the upper right corner of the page and selecting 'Fundraising Pages' from the drop-down menu.

When you are directed to your 'My Campaigns' page, click the 'Homepage' button in the upper right of the page to proceed.

Step 2: Set your Giving Site Homepage.

On this page, you will find your current 'Giving Site Homepage' URL. Click to expand a drop-down list of all of your campaigns and select which one should be accessed when visiting your unique URL.

Note: We recommend setting your Homepage to be an Everyday Giving page you are using as a general year-round donation page.

Step 3: Click 'Save & Close' to finalize your changes!

The campaign you selected in Step 2 will display a house icon on the 'My Campaigns' page, indicating that it is your current Homepage.

Now, you can share that Giving Site Homepage using that unique link to direct your donors to your donation page moving forward!
