Feature Overview: Ticketing and Registration
Ticketing and registration are the two options available for your participants that indicate whether or not they're committed to attending your event. Our ticketing and registration features within our Events pages make it easy for your organization to create and customize multiple ticket types, as well as collect and analyze important data on your event's attendees.
An Events page can have multiple different ticket types that can vary in price, timing, and availability. This allows you to offer unique opportunities and incentives for your event participants that they can easily select and purchase directly from within your Events page - or offer a free registration opportunity to better track attendance within your community. You can even create tickets that represent entire "tables" or other groups of guests, allowing for you to offer even more options for your participants to choose from.
Ticketing also allows you to track important details about your guest (like meal choice, or t-shirt size), as well as send quick but thoughtful acknowledgements to those who plan to attend.
To create a ticket, you'll want to click on the "Actions" button from within your Event overview, and select the option to "Add Ticket Type." You'll then be able to customize and publish your ticket type for your guests to select from. From this same dashboard, you'll have the opportunity to add and edit details, manually add offline ticket purchases, and process refund requests as needed.
The articles below provide you with guidance on how to create a ticket type and set up both individual and groups tickets, how to add offline ticket purchases and refund tickets as needed, and how to thank your ticket purchasers for attending.
