What is a Proof of Address and why is it required?

Understanding requirements for address verification and the purpose of the document.

Updated over 2 months ago

After you have passed ID verification using your physical passport or supported identity document, we ask for a Proof of Address document to verify your place of residence.

You can easily upload this on the nsave app. The main purpose of the document is to verify your address. We use this as a layer of security and to comply with regulations.

Recent Document

The Proof of Address document must be recent, and should clearly show your name and address. The document must be issued within the last 3 months, or in the case of a lease or mortgage agreement, should be issued within the last 12 months.

Types of Documents

You only need to provide one from the list of documents that we accept:

  • Tax document issued by a recognised government authority

  • Official government letter or correspondence (i.e. Feesh w Tashbeeh, Efadet Sakan etc.)
