What’s changing?
If you’re based in Nigeria, you will not be able to receive GBP transfers from accounts that are not in your name — this includes transfers from friends, family, or business partners.
This is a measure driven by compliance requirements with our banking partners. It’s designed to ensure your account remains secure and uninterrupted.
What’s not changing?
✅ You can still send GBP to third parties
✅ You can still receive GBP from your own accounts (i.e. accounts also in your name)
✅ USD transfers, investment accounts, ACH, Stablecoin top-ups, and other features remain fully active
✅ Outbound transfers are not affected in any currency
