Having issues adding your card to Google Wallet?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you’re unable to add your nsave card to Google Wallet (Google Pay), the issue is usually related to your device’s security settings - not the card itself.

Google performs a device security check before allowing a card to be added. If your device doesn’t meet their requirements, the card may be rejected automatically.

Why does this happen?

Google uses a device security score to determine whether a card can be tokenized (added to Wallet).

If the device:

  • Is outdated

  • Has pending security updates

  • Is rooted

  • Uses certain VPNs or proxies

Google may block the card for security reasons.

How to fix it

Try the following steps:

  1. Update your device to the latest Android version

  2. Update:

    • Google Wallet

    • Google Play Services

    • Google Play system updates

  3. Restart your device

  4. Turn off any VPN or proxy

  5. Make sure your device:

    • Is not rooted

    • Has a locked bootloader

  6. Ensure your Google account is active and in good standing

After completing these steps, try adding the card again.

Still not working?

If you’ve completed all the steps above and are still unable to add your card, contact our support team at support@nsave.com and let us know:

  • Your device model

  • Your Android version

  • The exact error message shown

We’ll take it from there.
