How to add a recipient (contact)

Save external bank recipients or nsave users so you can pay them quickly.

Summary

Save the people and businesses you pay as contacts so you can send to them quickly. You can add an external bank contact, add another nsave user by their @ntag, or import many at once from a CSV.

What can I do?

Go to Contacts, then choose one of:

Add an external contact (a bank account)

  1. Select Add External Contact.

  2. Choose the currency and the recipient's bank country — this determines which bank fields you'll be asked for.

  3. Pick Individual (first and last name) or Business (company name).

  4. Enter the recipient's address.

  5. Enter the bank details the portal asks for, which vary by country and currency:

    • UK / GBP: account number + sort code

    • Eurozone / EUR: IBAN + BIC

    • US / USD: routing number + account number

    • Other international: IBAN + BIC, or account number + BIC

  6. Add the bank name and address, then save.

Add an nsave user (@ntag)

  1. Select Add nsaver.

  2. Enter their @ntag (their nsave handle). Save. Transfers to nsave users are fee-free.

Good to know

  • Contacts in restricted countries can't be saved — you'll see a message if a bank country isn't supported.

  • You can review every saved field anytime by opening a contact's View panel.
