How to secure your account with two-factor authentication (2FA)

Add two-factor authentication to your Business Account using an authenticator app.

Summary


Add an extra layer of security to your Business Account with two-factor authentication. Once enabled, you'll enter a one-time code from an authenticator app each time you sign in.

What can I do?


  1. Go to Settings.

  2. In the Two-Factor Authentication section, select Add 2FA.

  3. Open an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator or Authy) and scan the QR code, or enter the setup key manually.

  4. Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm. 2FA is now active.

Good to know


  • From then on, after your password you'll be asked for the current 6-digit code at login.

  • To turn it off, return to Settings and select Remove 2FA.

  • Keep your authenticator app and device backed up so you don't lose access to your codes.
