If you don't have access to Wi-Fi, if you're having issues connecting the Handy to Wi-Fi or the connection keeps disconnecting, an option is to use a hotspot.
Setting up the hotspot
You can use your smartphone to set up a hotspot. The instructions for this depends on the brand of your phone.
iOS
Android
The Handy can only connect to the internet using 2.4GHz, so you may need to configure the hotspot to make it compatible with the Handy.
iOS
Enable the "Maximise Compatibility" setting
Android
Set the AP Band to 2.4GHz
Connecting Handy to the hotspot
You connect the Handy to the hotspot in the same way that you connect to a regular Wi-Fi network. However, if you can't see your hotspot in the list of networks, you most likely need to use a separate device to perform the setup on.
If you're unsure how to connect your Handy, please read our guide here.
Still having issues
If you're still having issues, you may need to disable Wi-Fi connection on the phone and use mobile data instead. It's worth noting, the Handy uses minimal data.
