Do you have music on Ompractice?
No, Ompractice classes currently don't have music. (Except, of course, for the ones where our teachers play their own sound bowls or gongs!)
Why not? Paying for music licensing rights is *wildly* expensive, and we'd prefer to invest in more classes with our teachers!
And because our classes are live and camera-on, the technology doesn't make for a great experience for everyone even if we were to do so! (Not to mention that everyone has different taste in music!)
Need a driving beat or tune to stay motivated? Don't worry, we have you covered!
Teacher Playlists: Many of our teachers share their own playlists that you can listen to during the class. (If you don't go to a class where the teacher shares a playlist, feel free to ask us for some, and we'll give you a couple of suggestions based on your interests!)
Your Own Music: You’re welcome to play your own music in the background during the class to enhance your experience.
🎶 Once you are muted, you can play music to go along with class either on your device, or through personal speakers. Just remember to pause your music if you need to unmute to ask a question!
That said, if having music during classes is something you’re missing, please let us know! We’re always looking for ways to improve your experience and appreciate your input – we want you to love your time in class! We'll never say never!
We'd also be interested in hearing if you'd like us to make more custom playlists for you. Let us know!
