The District Settings page gives administrators the controls to shape how communication looks and feels—all from one convenient page. From caller ID and voice preferences to password rules and logos, these settings help you reflect your district’s identity while keeping communication secure.
Log in to Community Messenger as an administrator, click your avatar in the upper-right corner, and select District Settings to get started.
Step One: Click the Pencil icon next to your district or organization logo, then click the Select file button to upload a photo from your computer, or drag and drop a file into the Upload logo dialog to add it to the Community Messenger login page.
✨ Fun Fact: Your client number, district or organization name, address, account phone number, and software release date are displayed in the District Settings section for reference if you need tech support.
Step Two: Click the Long text message disclosure triangle to display your settings, then click the Edit button to open the Upload logo dialog box.
Step Three: Click the Select file button or drag and drop a photo into the Upload logo dialog box to set your long text message logo.
Step Four: Click the Preview button to see how message recipients will view the long text message.
💡Helpful Tip: Collapse sections by clicking the disclosure triangle after editing to keep the page organized and easier to navigate.
Step Five: Click the Text-to-Voice disclosure triangle to display your voice preferences, then click the Edit button to adjust your settings.
Step Six: Select Man or Woman from the Select voice drop-down list, then click the Save button to update your voice settings or the Cancel button to discard them.
Step Seven: Click the Caller ID disclosure triangle, then click the Edit button to enter a phone number and extension that will display for recipients of text-to-voice or recorded messages.
Step Eight: Click the Save button to update your Caller ID phone number, or click the Cancel button to discard the change.
Step Nine: Click the Voice messages disclosure triangle to manage your recorded voice messages.
Step Ten: Click the Edit button and enter a 5-digit access code for recording voice messages, then click the Save button to update the code or the Cancel button to discard it.
💡 Helpful Tip: View saved recordings by clicking the Saved Voice Recordings disclosure triangle, then click the Edit button to rename a recording or the Delete button to remove it.
Step Eleven: Click the Create new voice recording button, then follow the instructions in the pop-up to create a recording.
Step Twelve: Click the User password requirements disclosure triangle, then select the desired settings from the drop-down lists to enhance security for users.
Step Thirteen: Click the Save button to update the password requirements, or the Cancel button to discard the changes.
