Once activities are set up and students are added to rosters, run an activity query to quickly verify student compliance with school policy or view which students have earned special commendations. With just a few clicks, you can check permission form completion, monitor upcoming physical expiration dates, or pull a list of your First Team All-Conference performers.
In jmc Office, head to Activities > Activity Query to get started.
Step One: Select a radio button in the "Query Type" box to run one of the following reports:
Activity Compliance: Displays each student’s most recent physical date, parent permission status, and concussion awareness status as recorded on the Health > Health History > Edit Student Health History page.
Compliance – Physical: Lists students who do not have a valid physical recorded on the Health > Health History > Edit Student Health History page as of the date specified in the “Physical Cutoff Date” field.
Helpful Tip: Set the “Physical Cutoff Date” based on how long student physicals are valid in your state. For example, if physicals are valid for one year, enter a cutoff date that is one year prior to the current date.
Compliance – Parent Permission: Lists students who do not have a valid parent permission recorded on the Health > Health History > Edit Student Health History page.
Helpful Tip: Use the “Permission Cutoff Date” field to find students who have not submitted a parent permission form in jmc after that date.
Compliance – Physical, Parent Permission, and Concussion Awareness: Lists students who are not meeting one or more of the following compliance requirements within the range specified in the cutoff fields: physical, parent permission, and/or concussion awareness.
Helpful Tip: Students in compliance with all three will not appear in the report. A “Yes” in a column indicates compliance with that specific requirement.
Compliance – Concussion Awareness: Lists students whose concussion awareness information is not up to date on the Health > Health History > Edit Student Health History page.
Helpful Tip: The “Concussion Awareness Cutoff Date” sets the compliance threshold. Students without a concussion awareness record after that date will appear in the report.
Special Commendations: Lists students along with any commendations they have received for the selected activity.
Return to Play/Participate: Lists students who are ineligible to participate due to health reasons, along with the date they become eligible to return.
Step Two: Click the "Preview" button to run the compliance report and display results in the window below.
Step Three: Click the "Print" button to save a PDF or print a hard copy of your report.
