Non-licensed Staff Records (NA) can be added to jmc's STAR module to help your school simplify the file creation process when submitting your STAR reports to the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). Reporting your school's non-licensed staff, like paraprofessionals and instructional aides, is a quick and easy process in jmc, helping streamline your STAR reporting submission.

Add your non-licensed staff members to your database by heading to Minnesota > STAR > Nonlicensed Staff in jmc Office.

Step One: Click the "Add New Staff" button to create a new non-licensed staff member employment record for STAR reporting.

Helpful Tip: Review the existing non-licensed employment records by entering the staff member's name in the "Find" field to avoid creating a duplicate record.

Step Two: Enter all necessary employment details for the staff member in the appropriate fields to provide complete non-licensed employment data in your STAR report and to avoid file errors.

Helpful Tip: Use the Staff Automated Report (STAR) Coding Manual provided by the MDE to help you format the employment details accurately.

Step Three: Click the "Update" button to save the new non-licensed staff record or click the "Delete" button to discard your changes.
