Monitoring student progress through state sponsored CTE programs from year to year is a snap with jmc! With the built in function that allows users to import program history data from the prior school year, users can have their CTE Concentrator records updated into the current school year with just a few clicks. As the Wisconsin DPI says, "Once a concentrator, always a concentrator!"

In jmc Office, go to Wisconsin > Program History > Import Program History from Prior Year to import your records from the prior year.

Step One: Enter the first day of the school year in the "Begin Date" field or simply click the calendar icon to set the date to begin the import record.

โ€‹Step Two (optional): Enter a date in the "End Date" field if the final date of the CTE program is known to complete the CTE record

Fun Fact: The "End Date" field is not required to successfully import CTE Concentrator records so if the "End Date" is unknown, simply leave the field blank and continue.

Step Three: Place a checkmark in the "Career and Technical Education" checkbox to import the Career and Technical Education (concentrator) program history record.

Step Four: Click the "Import" button to execute the "Import Program History from the Prior Year" process.

Fun Fact: This program history import will only create CTE concentrator records for prior concentrator students. If a student has a CTE concentrator program history record for current year, the import will not override the student status.

Helpful Tip: Need to identify and add new concentrators? No problem! Head to Wisconsin > CTE Report > CTE Report. Once you have confirmed new concentrators, head to the "Program History" tab of the View Student Data page to create a new CTE concentrator record for the identified student(s).
