jmc release updates boost the stability, performance, and security of your entire jmc toolkit, from jmc Office to jmc Student. Let’s take a look at what’s been released to you:
✅ For Minnesota schools that will be onboarding with MCCC to Ed-Fi in 2024, we have included new steps to complete in both the Prep and General tabs on Minnesota > Ed-Fi > Start Year that will help ensure successful data collection and reporting.

✅ For Minnesota graduates who no longer wish to receive college planning information from Direct Admissions Minnesota, you can now opt them out of the Direct Admissions Minnesota process on the View Student Data page in the General tab.

✅ Minnesota schools will now be able to track licensed staff hiring and termination dates via the Licensed Staff page in order to stay compliant with STAR (STaff Automated Reporting) requirements.
jmc will also include these dates in Minnesota > STAR > Print Data and Minnesota > STAR > Capture Files.

✅ For Iowa schools, we’ve updated the Export ESA Student Eligibility File to the latest format, so you can continue to seamlessly report your ESA (Education Savings Account) funding data to the IDE.

✅ We’ve enhanced our Community Messenger portal to ensure snag-free password changes.
Not familiar with Community Messenger? The portal gives all community members the power to stay in the know on district news, how and when they want it. To request this robust communication tool, email sales@jmcinc.com.
✅ Admins can now log into jmc Teacher from the Admin Dashboard to view even more grade book pages and reports, like Teacher-Parent Conferences, Discipline Summaries, and Period Attendance Reports, to help strengthen decision-making.
