Q. What is a Master Roster and how is it different from an Individual Event Roster?

A. Master Roster - The Master Roster is your master list of all the Students that signup and are going to participate in your Operation 36 9 Hole Play Days. Think of this as the starting point to populate your Individual Event Rosters.

When people signup for your programs, you can automatically add them to this Master Roster for your season based on Program and Package criteria. That way, as people sign-up for a program or a package that are associated with the Op 36 - 9 Hole Event Series, they will automatically be added to your Master Roster.

Individual Event Roster

The Individual Event Roster is the final roster for the day of the event. This will be different from your Master Roster because some students will not be able to make each and every event due to being sick, a last minute scheduling conflict, an important life event, etc...

The Individual Event Roster is populated from the Master Roster but still gives you full control to remove and add students depending on the individual event circumstances.

For Example: Your Master Roster might have a total of 37 golfers, but potentially on the day of Event #1, only 28 were able to show up. Then maybe on Event #2, only 31 were able to show up. You can quickly see how each Individual Event Roster needs to have the ability for customization. This is exactly why Event Series are important.

The Individual Event Rosters are populated with the 37 golfers from the Master Roster and then can be customized by removing students who were unable to attend based on the Individual Event Roster date.
