As you are working on transactions, the status for each one will change during the process. It's important to keep the Contract Status updated so you know which transactions are Active, Pending, Closed, etc.

You can even create Tables and Segments to filter your transactions by different statuses. To learn more about Tables and Segments, follow along with these articles:

Updating the Contract Status

To update a Contract Status for a transaction, you can go to the Properties page and either click on the current status under the corresponding column, or click on the property address to change it in the Property Details.

If you can't find the column for the Contract Status, click on Table Columns on the left side of your screen to add it to your view.

Property Details Page

You can also change the status on the Tasks or Triggers pages by clicking on the house icon for the card you are working on.

If you don't see the house icon, you may need to add it to the card. This can be done by clicking on the funnel icon to open your Task/Trigger Display Options, depending on what page you are on. From there, select Property Options. You should now see the house icon.

Once you click on the current status, you can select a new status. You can also set the Priority for the Contract Status field (High, Med, Low), and assign a color to that field. If you set a new priority for the field, it will show in your health bar as a priority action for that specific transaction.

After you have updated the status, click on the box with a checkmark to continue.

Image shows the dropdown option for the Contract Status. Below that and to the left is the priority options, and below the options are the color choices. To the right of the color choices is the checkmark box to confirm change. To the right of the checkmark box is an X box where you can cancel the action.

You will be asked to review specific items related to the transaction including deleting Property Tasks, deleting Scheduled Emails, and/or removing Property Dates from any API calendar you have connected to your account.

Very Important:

Deleting tasks, scheduled emails, and dates are all actions that cannot be undone. Be sure you want to delete these items before moving forward with your actions.

Click on Close to go back to your transaction which now has the new status you selected.
