Tasks are an important part of your daily routine. Keeping track of which tasks have been completed versus which still need to be done is crucial to keeping your transactions running smoothly.

Once you have finished performing a task, there are a couple of different ways to complete it. The first is completing the individual task while the second is mass completing your tasks. Let's go over both options.

Completing Individual Tasks

You can complete an individual task within the property itself or from the Task Pipeline. On either page, you will find a box with a checkmark that you can click on to complete the task.

Important:

If a task has required subtasks, you will first need to complete those subtasks before you can complete the main task. The same rule applies to Parent/Child tasks. The Parent task must be completed prior to the Child task being completed.

Individual Property

Task Pipeline

Another area you can complete a task is if you are updating the task details. You can go through all the updates you need to make such as title, date, internal notes, etc., and then check the box that says Complete Task After "Update".

Mass Completing Tasks

If you need to complete a group of tasks at the same time, you can select the tasks you need which will open options at the bottom of the page to choose from. Click on Complete to finalize the action.

Important:

Trigger Tasks: Any task with triggers must be completed individually. They cannot be closed with the group option.

Child Tasks: Any task with an uncompleted Parent Task will not be closed with this option and will remain in the task list.

Subtasks: Any task with uncompleted subtasks will not be closed with this option and will remain in the task list.

Finding Completed Tasks

Once you have completed your tasks, they will automatically go to the Completed task list. To find this, click on the bullet point icon to open your task statuses and click Completed.

Pro Tip:

If you complete a task on accident, you can go to your Completed list and click the box next to the task that was accidentally completed. This will move the task back to the Active list.
