Full Admins, Schedulers, and Commissioners with permissions to the Schedules product can now add a ‘Pitch Count’ macro field to the Post-Game Report, enabling the collection and recording of this data after games. The Pitch Count macro will encompass three components: Pitcher, Pitch Count, and Innings Pitched. Follow the steps below to add the Pitch Count to Post-Game Reports:
Adding the Pitch Count Macro to a Game Form Template
1. From the navigation, select Settings > Forms & Docs > Web Forms.
2. Next, you can either edit an existing game template or create a new game template.
If editing an existing template, select the template name from the Template drop-down menu.
If creating a new template, click on the mini menu adjacent to the Template drop-down, then select Add New Template. Give the template a name and choose Games as the Form Type.
3. Whether you are on an existing template or a new template, click on the mini menu in the section header and select Add Item. Within the Data Macros section, choose ‘Pitch Count.’
4. Select the team, home or away, then choose your player identification for the macro and click Save. Repeat if necessary for the home/away team.
5. Move the macro where you’d like it to appear in the section by hovering over the field and using the move arrow to place it where desired.
6. All changes are saved automatically while you update the template.
Modifying and Adding the Pitch Count Macro to the Post-Game Report
1. From the navigation, select Programs > choose your program and season > Scheduling > Forms.
2. Select the Forms view, and the Post-Game Report will display.
Note: Pitch Count can also be added to the Referee Game Report if needed. If you want to add to the Referee Game Report, simply choose that report from the Form menu and follow the steps outlined below.
3. Click on the mini menu in the section header and select Add Item. Within the Data Macros section, choose ‘Pitch Count.’
4. Select the team, home or away, then choose your player identification for the macro and click Save. Repeat if necessary for the home/away team.
5. Move the macro where you’d like it to appear in the section by hovering over the field and using the move arrow to place it where desired.
6. All changes are saved automatically while you update the Post-Game Report.
Tip: You can incorporate templates from the Form Templates section into your Post-Game Reports and Referee Game Reports. Just click on "Add Section" and select "Templated Sections & Items." Templates designated as “Game” form types will be available as options to add.
