How to transfer your number to Panda Mobile

Transferring (or porting in) a number to Panda Mobile

Currently, Panda Mobile has two marketing websites offering different packages and plans. While most basic services and features are similar across both sites, pricing and certain advanced features vary depending on the plan you choose.

Panda Mobile will soon be migrating all services to pandacellular.com. In the meantime, both websites remain active and accessible. The steps below will guide you on how to port in your number, depending on which website you used to create your account.

Prepare your account details for the transfer. You can contact your previous carrier to get these details or visit the link below to obtain your Account Number and Transfer PIN. Make sure your ZIP code matches the one on file with your current carrier.

eSIM


Step 1: Sign Up on the Website and Choose your Plan

  • Select the plan based on option. Choose the best based on your needs.

  • On the desktop version, click the human icon to go to the portal sign in page

  • Verify your email. Make sure that you verify first the account as activation won't start unless the email is fully verified

Step 2: SIM option

  • You'll be asked to choose your method of activation - either Physical SIM or eSIM. Since we're activating through eSIM, please choose eSIM

    • To check if your device is eSIM compatible - please refer to this article to check

  • Complete all the fields needed. This includes creating your email and password to the portal. Followed by your details.

  • This information will reflect on your portal once activated. You can modify details as needed on the portal once activated. You can modify details as needed

Step 3: Checkout & Payment

  • Proceed and complete the payment process. Once the payment is successful, the activation process will begin.

    • 2 payment options will be available either card payments or other payment channels like Alipay, We Chat, etc.,

Step 4: Activation

Start Activation

  • Confirm your service address. Please note that this must be a valid U.S. Address

    Your dashboard will prompt to start activating your line - please click Start Activation

Initiate the transfer

  • Choose 'I want to transfer my number to Panda Mobile'

  • Enter all the details needed. Make sure to review before submitting to ensure smooth transfer.

  • Quick Note: Make sure your service ZIP code matches the one on your account with your previous carrier, as this is required for number transfers.

    • Phone Number

    • ZIP Code

    • Previous Carrier

    • Account Number

    • Transfer PIN

  • A temporary line will be generated. You will be notified once the transfer is complete

  • To activate eSIM click "Continue to connect your device"

Install eSIM

  • System will ask you to choose your SIM. Choose eSIM

  • A prompt will show to make sure that have the following:

    • Strong Wi-Fi connection

    • Your device is running on the latest OS and has a working camera

    • Hit continue

  • For iOS: Go to Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan

  • For Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM

  • Scan the QR code

  • Follow the instructions on screen to install

Physical SIM(pSIM)


Step 1: Sign Up on the Website, and choose your Plan

  • Select the plan based on option. Choose the best based on your needs.

  • On the desktop version, click the human icon to go to the portal sign in page

  • Verify your email. Make sure that you verify first the account as activation won't start unless the email is fully verified

Step 2: Plan Selection and SIM option

  • You'll be asked to choose a plan, where inclusion is displayed. Choose Physical SIM.

    • You will be asked for a shipping detail. Please make sure to complete all the fields. Adding your room, apartment and floor number will be helpful to make sure that it will be delivered on the correct address

    • Take note that delivery will take 3-5 business days once shipped

Step 3: Account Creation

  • Complete all the fields needed. This includes creating your email and password to the portal. Followed by your details.

  • This information will reflect on your portal once activated. You can modify details as needed on the portal

Step 4: Checkout & Payment

  • Proceed and complete the payment process. Once the payment is successful, the activation process will begin.

    • 2 payment options will be available either card payments or other payment channels like Alipay, We Chat, etc.,

Step 5: Activation

Before moving to this next step - please make sure that you have your SIM Card on hand. This will avoid you getting issues with your billing as billing cycle will start once activated.

Start Activation

  • Dashboard will prompt to start activating your line - please click Start Activation

  • Confirm your service address. Please note that this must be a valid U.S. Address

Initiate the transfer

  • Choose "I want to transfer my number to Panda Mobile"

  • Enter the following details. Make sure to review before submitting to ensure smooth transfer.

  • Quick Note: Make sure your service ZIP code matches the one on your account with your previous carrier, as this is required for number transfers.

    • Phone Number

    • ZIP Code

    • Previous Carrier

    • Account Number

    • Transfer PIN

  • A temporary line will be generated. You will be notified once the transfer is complete.

Install your Physical SIM

  • System will ask you to choose your SIM. Choose Physical SIM

  • Enter your SIM's 18 digits code ICCID number found on the lower-left corner of your SIM card

  • Click submit to complete the activation.

  • Eject your phone’s SIM tray, insert your Panda Mobile SIM with the gold contacts facing down, then reinsert the tray. Restart your phone to connect to the Panda Mobile network, and your service should be up and running shortly!

Take note: This is only applicable provided you already have an existing Panda Mobile number.

Step 1: Make sure your device is carrier unlocked

Ensure your phone is carrier unlocked, meaning it’s not restricted by your old carrier. If you’re unsure, a quick call to your previous carrier will confirm this.

Step 2: Prepare your number

Make sure your phone number is active and there are no outstanding issues with your old carrier

Step 3: Access your portal

Once logged in to your Panda Mobile portal, navigate to the temporary line where you'll be porting in your number, then click 'view details' followed by 'manage' to start the transfer process.

Step 4: Initiate the transfer

Under 'Your number', click 'Transfer number in' and provide the necessary information from your old carrier and your phone number. Double-check your entries before submitting.

Quick Note: Make sure your service ZIP code matches the one on your account with your previous carrier, as this is required for number transfers.

Step 5: Confirm and relax

After submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation and Panda Mobile will handle the rest. Porting in your number should not take more than 5 minutes, but If you encounter any issues, follow the steps in this article.

If you’re signing in to, or your account is on, pandacellular.com

Note: Currently, submitting a manual port-in to pandacellular.com is not available. If you already have an account and activated a new number, you cannot transfer an existing number from another carrier. These steps only apply when you are signing up for the first time and want to port in your number during account creation.

eSIM


Step 1: Visit the Website and Choose Your Plan

  • Click 'Get Your Plan' at the top of the page to access the Panda portal

  • Under Plans, choose from the four available options based on your needs

  • Select the subscription duration: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months Check for special offers available for your selected plan and duration

  • Click 'Get the Plan' to proceed to the checkout flow

    • Review your plan details and inclusions

    • Confirm the selected duration before continuing


Step 2: Choose SIM Option

  • Select the method of activation: eSIM

  • Choose your device by selecting the make and model from the drop-down menu

  • The system will check device compatibility.

    • If compatible, you will see 'Your device is compatible'

    • If not compatible, refer to the compatibility article or use a different device

Step 3: Sign Up, Checkout, and Payment

  • Sign up using an active email address and create a password

    • Optionally, you can sign up using your Google account

  • Review the Plan summary showing your plan and duration

  • If you have a coupon code, enter it in the promotion field and click Apply

  • Select your payment method and enter your payment details

  • Click Continue to finalize your purchase

  • You will receive a confirmation email with your purchase

Step 4: Activation

Start Activation

  • Your dashboard will prompt you to start activating your line. Click Start Activation

  • Ensure that your device is connected to WiFi before proceeding

  • Confirm your service address. Make sure this is a valid U.S. address

Initiate the Transfer

  • Choose 'I want to transfer my number to Panda'

  • Important: Before transferring your number, do not cancel your service with your current carrier

    • Transferring (porting) your number requires that your number remains active with your current carrier

    • Your number will only be successfully ported once it is active with Panda Mobile

  • Enter all the required details carefully and review before submitting to ensure a smooth transfer:

    • Phone Number

    • Account Number

    • Transfer PIN

  • A temporary line will be generated. You will be notified once the transfer is complete

  • To activate your eSIM, click 'Continue to connect your device'

Install eSIM

  • Before continuing, make sure you have:

    • A strong WiFi connection

    • Your device is running the latest OS and has a working camera

  • For iOS devices:

    • Go to Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan

  • For Android devices:

    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM

  • Scan the QR code provided

    • Follow the on-screen instructions carefully to complete installation.

    • This step is critical — your device must fully scan the QR code for activation to succeed

  • Once confirmed, click Done.

  • You may now manage your account by clicking 'Go to My Account'

Physical SIM(pSIM)

Step 1: Visit the Website and Choose Your Plan

  • Click 'Get Your Plan' at the top of the page to access the Panda portal

  • Under Plans, choose from the four available options based on your needs

  • Select the subscription duration: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months Check for special offers available for your selected plan and duration

  • Click 'Get the Plan' to proceed to the checkout flow

    • Review your plan details and inclusions

    • Confirm the selected duration before continuing


Step 2: Choose SIM Option

  • Select your method of activation:

    • Physical SIM (pSIM) — if you need a SIM shipped to you.

    • 'Already have a Panda SIM' — if you already received a SIM from one of our events.

  • Important:

    • If you select 'Already have a Panda SIM', you will not be asked for a shipping address later in the checkout process.

    • If you select Physical SIM, you will be prompted to enter a shipping address during checkout.

    • Please take note that shipping typically takes 2–5 business days for delivery.

Step 3: Sign Up, Checkout, and Payment

  • Sign up using an active email address and create a password.

    • Optionally, you can sign up using your Google account.

  • Review the plan summary showing your selected plan and duration.

  • If you have a coupon code, enter it in the promotion field and click Apply.

  • Enter your full shipping address, including Address Line 2 if needed (Apt#, Suite, etc.) to ensure timely delivery.

  • Select your payment method and enter your payment details

  • Click Continue to finalize your purchase.

  • You will receive a confirmation email with your purchase and subscription details.

Step 4: Activation

You will only need to go through this process if you already have a Panda SIM on hand.

Start Activation

  • Your dashboard will prompt you to start activating your line. Click 'Start Activation'

  • Confirm your service address. Make sure this is a valid U.S. address.

Transfer Your Number and Activate Your SIM

  • Choose 'I want to transfer my number to Panda' and select 'I have my Panda SIM'

  • Important: Do not cancel your current service—your number must remain active until the transfer completes.

  • Enter required details:

    • First & Last Name

    • Phone Number to Transfer

    • Account Number

    • Transfer PIN

  • Enter your SIM’s 18–20 digit ICCID and click 'Submit'

  • You’ll be redirected to your account page to manage your service

Insert Your SIM:

  • Eject your SIM tray and insert your Panda SIM with gold contacts facing down.

  • Reinsert the tray and restart your phone.

  • Your service will connect shortly, you’re all set! 🎉
