Pricing history lets you quickly pull in cost, discount, and sell price from past quotes — saving time and helping you quote more accurately based on real data your team has already used.
| 1. Open the Pricing History Icon |
Navigate to the Pricing & Lead Time tab.
Click the History icon ($) next to the line item you want to look up.
Tip: Filter any column to narrow your search. You can also clear part of the model number to broaden results and find matches across a product series. |
| 2. Reuse Pricing Details (Cost, Margin, Sell, Lead time) |
Select the row for the historical record you want to reuse.
Choose a reuse option:
Reuse Cost Only — copies only the cost value.
Reuse All Pricing — pulls in cost, discount, and sell price.
Reuse All Fields — pulls in all pricing plus the product description.
| 3. Use Pricing and Lead Time in the Tool Bar |
For users with Quoting access, the Pricing & Lead Time Dashboard is available in the left panel — letting you review pricing history without needing to open a specific quote.
Open the Pricing & Lead Time Dashboard from the left panel.
Type in a Manufacturer and Model Number to search.
Filter by criteria such as Quote Owner or Quote Status, or sort by pricing and lead time columns.
| 4. Import Pricing History In |
Download the Pricing History File Template from the dashboard.
Fill in your pricing and lead time data and upload the file.
Refresh the page — the Source column will display Import for all uploaded records.
Click Manage Columns to add and reorder the Date Uploaded column as needed.
Tip: Importing pricing history is a great way to pre-load historical data for your team before they start quoting in Parspec. |
