When you place a project on hold, all work is halted. Designers cannot continue with the project until the project is moved back to active, nor will they receive any messages you send while a project is on-hold status. The on-hold feature is typically used when you're awaiting feedback from a customer, or you would like a project to take precedence over another. Putting a project on hold signals to our design team that the project isn't finished, and will be worked on again when you're ready.
