Tips for Enhanced Sensor Sensitivity During Whole Body Exercises

Updated over a month ago

Some users experience difficulties with movement detection when using Perifit Care+ during full-body games/exercises, such as the Whole Body Training and Winter Surfer game. If you’ve noticed that your movements are not fully registering in these games, this article will guide you through tips and adjustments to help optimize sensor detection for a smoother and more effective workout experience.

  1. Make use of the blocker / silicone ring:
The blocker, a silicone ring that attaches to the tail of the Perifit Care+, was developed by our team to help keep the probe and readings stable. It can help detect movements more effectively by blocking interference, especially during whole-body exercises.

If you did not receive a blocker with your Perifit Care+, we’d be happy to send you one for free. Please reach out to our support team via the ? button of the app for assistance.

  2. Perform Abrupt Movements:
For the best response in the Whole Body Training or Winter Surfer game, aim for more sudden or brisk movements. This approach can help Perifit Care+ sensors pick up shifts in motion and position more accurately, creating a smoother and more responsive gaming experience.

  3. Adjust your position:
If comfortable enough, you can try training seated on the edge of a sturdy chair. This takes away any added pressure on the Perifit Care+ and may help the sensors detect your movements more clearly. Just ensure you’re in a stable and comfortable position before starting the game.

If you continue to experience difficulties, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via the ? button of the app. Our team is here to help you achieve your goals comfortably and effectively.
