Understanding Bluetooth and Your Perifit Care(+)
Bluetooth is used to send sensor information from your Perifit Care(+) to your smartphone or tablet. The Bluetooth antenna is located:
Perifit Care+: At the end of the purple tail, under the on/off button.
Perifit Care (original): On the white base
Bluetooth quality can sometimes be affected by how the probe interacts with your device during training.
Tips to Improve Bluetooth Connection
While training, check if these steps improve Bluetooth quality:
Remove obstacles: Ensure there are no obstacles (blanket, clothing etc) between the probe’s antenna and your phone.
Adjust your position: Keep your legs slightly open, and make sure the antenna faces up toward your belly and phone.
Keep the antenna away from your skin: Skin can interfere with Bluetooth signals.
Move your phone: Try adjusting your phone's position vertically and horizontally to find the best signal.
Disconnect other Bluetooth devices: Other devices connected to your phone/tablet may interfere with the signal.
Update your app: Ensure you have the latest version of the Perifit Care app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Restart your phone: This can reset Bluetooth settings and improve connectivity.
Storage Tip for Perifit Care Users
If you store your probe in a box, place the antenna as shown in the image below to maintain optimal connectivity.
