Overview
A marketing push mailing lets you send a push notification to all customers who have a specific loyalty card, or narrow your audience to a segment based on their card activity. You can send immediately or schedule for a future date and time. Push notifications are free and unlimited.
How to create a marketing push
Step 1: Navigate to Send Push
Click Mailings in the left-hand menu.
Click the Send Push tab at the top of the screen.
Step 2: Select the card
Choose the card template from the Card dropdown. All your created cards are available in this list.
Step 3: Choose your audience
By default, For All Customers is selected — the notification will be sent to every customer who has the selected card.
To target a specific group instead, click Selected Segment. This reveals additional dropdowns where you can define your segment:
Condition — Choose what to filter by (e.g., current number of uses, unused rewards, or number of stamps)
Operator — Choose the comparison (e.g., equal to, greater than, less than)
Count — Enter the value for the condition
For example, selecting "Number of stamps," "Greater than," and "1" will target only customers who have more than one stamp on their card. The number of customers matching your criteria is displayed below the dropdowns so you can confirm the audience size before sending.
Step 4: Write your message
Enter your message in the Message textbox. Click the emoji icon to add emojis.
Tip: Keep your message under 260 characters. Messages longer than this may be cut off on iOS and Android devices. Use emojis to increase open rates — they work as eye-openers and capture customer attention.
You can preview how the notification will look on a phone in the preview image on the right side of the screen.
Step 5: Send or schedule
To send immediately, click Send.
To schedule for a future date, tick the Schedule checkbox. A date and time selector appears — choose when you want the notification to be delivered, then click Send.
Step 6: Confirm and review
A confirmation popup appears showing the number of customers who will receive the message and the message text. Review the details and click Send to confirm.
The notification is added to the History log, where you can track when it was created and when it will be delivered.
