To comply with WhatsApp policies and provide recipients with a simple way to unsubscribe, you should include an opt-out option in your messages (If not, you risk having your WhatsApp template rejected).

  • Your template must include a Quick Reply button.

  • The text must be either "stop promotions" or "opt-out" (capitalization does not matter).

  • Once the button is clicked, the recipient will no longer receive WhatsApp messages from this account.

  • Messages sent after unsubscribing will result in an error notification in the system.

💡 Tip: Clearly communicate the opt-out option to ensure a positive user experience and maintain high message quality.

ℹ️ This feature is available from the Advanced Plan (Legacy) / Expand Plan (New) onwards. It can also be added via the Messaging Suite.
