Grain/Hay Storage records commodities held in silos, sheds, outdoor stacks and bunkers, including quantity, quality and source paddocks.

Open Inventory → Grain to review structures and stored grain and hay inside Inventory. The same workspace also lives under More → Data Centres → Grain/Hay Storage (or More → Grain/Hay Storage). Actions such as Load in, Load out, Activity and Contracts from the Inventory Grain section open this page with the structure already picked.

Create a grain silo, grain bin, grain shed, hay shed, outdoor hay stack, bunker or pad. Add its name, type, capacity and notes. Use Drop pin on map to place the structure on the satellite map (tap the position, then save). Use my location remains available, and you can move or remove the pin before saving. Coordinates still allow the location to appear on the Map.

Choose the location, season, commodity and variety. Record the quantity in tonnes or kilograms and add a quality or grade where useful. You can also link a source paddock and add customer, contract or general notes.

Choose Load in and select Where it went:

Add the paddock, tonnes, docket, commodity, grade or quality, truck and carrier where known. Previously used receival sites and buyers appear as suggestions. You can also start the same sheet from Map → paddock → Plan → harvest activity → Log a load, or from Yield Center with the paddock already selected.

Delivered loads remain visible in Activity, Commodities → Harvest by paddock and Yield Center. The Yield Center Harvest loads panel can record or update the paddock yield from its stored and delivered loads.

Open Grain/Hay Storage → Contracts to record what has been sold and what remains to deliver. Select Add contract to enter one, or Read a contract to photograph it or upload the buyer's PDF and review the extracted buyer, contract number, commodity, grade, tonnes, tolerance, price, delivery site and window.

Link a load-out or delivered-off-paddock load to the matching contract. Each contract shows delivered against sold, tonnes still owed and an overdue delivery window. Uncommitted grain compares stored grain with the quantity still owed, so check grades, linked deliveries and tolerances before treating it as grain available to sell.

Only managers can add or change contracts. Other farm members can view them and count a delivery towards one. For older deliveries, open the contract and use Count it on an unlinked delivery. The source photo or PDF is filed in Documents. AI contract reading must be enabled for the farm.

Record the bale count, bale type and average weight per bale. Phase calculates stored tonnes from those values. Add the season, commodity or hay type, quality, source paddock and notes where known.

Use Correct to fix a structure's stored amount. For hay, you can save a change to the bale count even when the tonnes stay the same; the confirmation and Activity history show the bale change. Grain corrections still work in tonnes.

The summary shows stored tonnes, delivered tonnes, hay bales, storage locations and source paddocks. Open a location to see its contents and available capacity information. Phase can group recorded stock by commodity, grade, variety and source paddock.
